F6 Savannah Cat for sale
Looking for a more affordable Savannah cat for sale? Consider the F6 or lower generations. An F6 Savannah cat for sale, or F6 Savannah kitten for sale are much less expensive and smaller in size.
An F6 – f26 is all the same. At this point in the breedings you’re not taking anymore wild out of the breed. Similar to breeding a purebred dog. Let me explain.
If you take an F5 female breed to an F5 male that happens to be fertile. You would technically get another F5 because you’re breeding among the same generation. Similarly as a Husky to a Husky or a Pug to a Pug. Because Savannah males are sterile until the F5 generation it’s always important to know what level the male is for fertility purposes as a breeder.
F5 + F5 = F6
F6 + F5 = F6
F7 + F5 = F6
So whatever the lowest number of F is used regardless of male or female, you add 1 for the next offspring.
Once at the SBT level your breeding is not taking away any more wild. In fact some of my nicest SBT kittens have been f7 and f8. Reason being is at that level you have a few more cats in the pedigree with certain characteristics that you’re trying to lock in that you can achieve by selective pairing.
The F6 through F whatever should still have tall ears, nice spotting, slenderbodies, triangular faces, playful personalities, but still be more cuddly than the higher generation.
If you read what I explained about the f5, that is what you can expect with the f6 on down. Except at this level most males are fertile.
F6 Savannah cats for sale
F6 Savannah cats are often chosen by individuals or families who appreciate the breed’s unique appearance but prefer a cat that is closer in size and to a typical domestic cat, but want the personality of a dog. These cats make loving and loyal companions but are more active and entertaining than a regular cat. Which makes the Savannah breed distinctive. As with any exotic breed, it’s important to do your research. Understand them and know your county laws, as many states have restrictions on hybrids.
F5 Savannah Cat price
The F5 Savannah cat price will be more affordable than higher Gens. It’s worth noting that as you go further down the generations (F6, F7, etc.), Savannah cats become more domesticated and their behavior becomes similar to that of traditional house cats. However, they often retain their distinctive appearance and playful puppy personalities. If you’re considering getting an F4 Savannah cat or any other exotic breed, make sure to research thoroughly and choose a reputable savannah cat breeder who adheres to ethical breeding practices.
